Is driving a lorry your thing?
The transportation business is very important to our economy. Everywhere in Germany, lorries deliver goods for daily consumption around the clock. Professional drivers are in demand. TÜV NORD Mobilität is your partner if you would like to get a class C driver's license. Come to us if you would like to extend your "old" class 2 or expired class C, C1 or C1E. We will provide the required examinations and certificates from a single source.
Extending a class 2 driver's license
Throw away the "old rag". Then you can drive lorries over 7.5 tons until you reach age 50. By then it will be time to convert your driver's license to the new class CE driver's license. Your driver's license will then be valid for a period of five years.
The driver's license ordinance prescribes the following examinations:
- the medical examination for ruling out illnesses that might negatively affect your fitness to drive.
- the eyesight examination with regard to visual acuity, peripheral vision, color and stereoscopic vision.
TÜV NORD Mobilität provides these examinations from a single source and a single appointment. Give us a call. We will flexibly adapt to your desired appointment dates. As a rule, you can take all of the documents with you immediately.
Driver's licence class C, C1 and C1E
If you want to get your class C1E, C or CE driver's license or to extend it by five more years, you must satisfy certain health requirements.
To this end, we will provide you with the following examinations, which are required by law:
- the medical examination for ruling out illnesses that will affect your fitness or your conditional fitness.
Important: The examination is also required for initial issuance of the so-called Class C1E, i.e. for vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tons, which previously fell under Class 3.
