ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Auditor Transition Training Course (2164 & 17965)
The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of IT service management systems against ISO 20000, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021, as applicable.
Course Details
The course is structured in two modules:
1.Knowledge and understanding Annex SL as a framework for ISO management systems.
2.Knowledge and understanding the requirements of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 and be able to audit against the standard requirements effectively.
- The first module is optional for those delegates who have not participated in a CQI and IRCA certified Annex SL Training Course yet. It covers the changes arising as a result of the adoption of Annex SL. All students who participated successfully in Annex SL part in combination with another course (e.g. ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 14001:2015 Transition Training Course) are able to attend in Module 2 only - as a standalone training Course.
- The second module covers the changes arising as a result of the requirements to the standard specific content of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018. The training is highly interactive and consists of knowl- edge based sessions as well as practical exercises.
Successful completion of the course (continuous assessments and examination) will result in the issue of a certificate, which may be used to retain an existing IRCA auditor appointment for IT Service Management Systems and therefore upgrade the ITSMS auditor appointment to the latest revision of the standard (IRCA certified). In case of fail result of the examination, delegates have the right of one resit examination within 12 month of the last day of the Course.
Recommended prior knowledge
The students are expected to have an in depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 and auditing techniques. Oth-erwise it is recommended to attend a five days ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Lead Auditor Training Course.
