The requirements for reliability and safety of railway equipment on the international market are becoming ever stricter. The CENELEC safety standards EN 50126 (IEC 62278), EN 50128 (IEC 62279), EN 50129 (IEC 62425), and EN 50159 require companies to ensure that those entrusted with the functional safety possess a sufficient Level of competence and are suitably qualified. Trained personnel who can fulfil these requirements for proven competence are needed urgently in the employment market.
