Audits of Functional Safety

Manufacturers or operators of safety-driven systems or components must prove that the functional safety of their devices and systems is fulfilled. Therefore, high demands are made with regards to safety management and the relevant phase of the safety lifecycle. TUV NORD examines and judges these as an independent inspection authority. Hereby, we are geared to the industry-specific normative requirements, such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 26262, IEC 61800-5-2, EN 50126, etc. These standards demand a process-oriented quality management, which is tailored to the market so the product lifecycle of safety-drives systems or components is ensured and economically optimized.
