Playground operators must ensure at all times that the safety of the playground equipment is guaranteed. The regular maintenance and inspection of playgrounds and playground equipment is vital. The regular inspections must be performed by qualified persons. Our experts carry out inspections for the initial acceptance inspection of playgrounds and playground equipment in schools, kindergartens and public facilities, and also perform the annual and quarterly inspections.

The standard DIN EN 1176 requires the safety of playgrounds and playground equipment to be inspected. Within the framework of inspections by TÜV NORD, any defects identified are recorded in an inspection report with corresponding photographic documentation. The elimination of defects is performed by the playground operator. The inspection documentation serves as evidences that the playground operator has fulfilled its duty of care – an important element of safety management.

After the completed playground inspection, you will receive a certificate and a certification mark in conformity with DIN EN 1176. The certification mark can be affixed e.g. to the playground sign at the entrance to the playground.
