Professional Management of Stress and Conflicts

Violence can be situational, planned, or develop through group dynamics. Those affected often respond with fear, uncertainty, and helplessness when dealing with aggressive individuals. Professional handling of violent situations is crucial, especially for those who, due to their profession, may become involved in confrontations or need to mediate conflicts. To prevent the escalation of violence, strategies for de-escalation and non-violent conflict resolution are essential. We place particular emphasis on a high level of practical application. In practical exercises, violent experiences are analyzed, and de-escalation options, as well as self-protection and defense strategies, are developed and practiced.

The aim of this foundational qualification is to learn how to professionally manage conflicts, aggression, and violence, to convey these skills within one's work environment, to establish de-escalating actions and thinking, and to engage in violence prevention.
